Is It the Right Fit for You?
This model has a capacity of 330 pounds so it is suitable even for very heavy people. The rugged metal frame guarantees that the unit can not only support the maximum weight but also withstand the test of time. In general, the unit is very well-made and I personally think that it is highly durable. This is something I’d like to point out in my EZ Lite Cruiser Heavy Duty review.
Suitable for Traveling?
I can confidently say that this power wheelchair is a great travel companion. It is quite light, weighing 64 pounds with the battery and 58 without it. It folds and unfolds extremely easily and quickly. Caregivers don’t have to worry about making lots of effort to get the unit into the desired position. Loading it into the car trunk and unloading it will always be simple and hassle-free.
The large rear wheels with thickly textured tires make the Deluxe DX12 wheelchair perfectly prepared for outdoor use. Thanks to them, the unit can run smoothly on virtually any hard surface in the city. The front swivel wheels do an excellent job of making the wheelchair maneuverable. Turning around corners is simple and quick and this is worth mentioning in every EZ Lite Cruiser Heavy Duty review.
How about EZ Lite Cruiser Heavy Duty Comfort?
The seat is wide and deep and has very thick padding. It’s true that it is not as thick as that of the LiteRider Envy GP162 electric powerchair, but it’s close. The padding of the backrest offers great comfort too. What’s more, you can recline the backrest into 5 different positions. This gives you huge flexibility.
I’m a huge fan of the armrests’ design. They are more than comfy which is important when you go on longer trips. The footrest is sufficiently wide but doesn’t have a rubber mat. The basket is a practical feature to have. It is sufficiently big for carrying all items which you need with you.
Is It a Reliable Performer?
This model works flawlessly and this is something which I’d like to highlight in my EZ Lite Cruiser Heavy Duty review. The motor runs smoothly without making a loud noise and delivers power to the rear wheels reliably. The speed is quite good for such a compact and light model. I like the joystick very much. It follows your commands without effort on your part, but without being way too sensitive. It can be mounted on the side of your choice.
You should not worry about the LiFePO4 lithium battery failing you. It is made to last and gives you a range of over 10 miles when fully charged. There is an option for adding a second battery which will double the range of the model.
Are There Cons?
As I mentioned earlier in my EZ Lite Cruiser Heavy Duty review, the footrest could feature a better non-slip surface. I have not found other flaws in the model. I think it is well-made and performs perfectly.
This EZ Lite Cruiser Heavy Duty review finds the model to be great for outdoor use and for travel as a whole. It is comfortable and performs reliably. For more information and reviews, visit Scooternchairs.
